Dear Linda, Tina, Rollie and the entire Sutton family,
Sending my deepest sympathy over the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Losing someone you love so deeply leaves an empty place in your hearts. May you all be comforted in knowing how much he loved you all. I will miss talking to him about politics and history. His sharp mind and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by us all! Sending you my love and hugs. Lee

I remember Rollie as the shy, handsome cousin that lived up the hill from Gramp and Gram Proper. RIP, cousin

Rollie will be deeply missed. In the late 40’s & 50’s spent many hours with Rollie & Larry while Grandpa remodeled kitchens in Spartanburg, Ongley Hill and the milk house. We built forts (out of Uncle Merle’s fence posts), many hours riding horses, swimming, sleep overs, playing on the beams in the old barn & evenings were filled with board games.
Later our attention moved to hunting and fishing. We started families – our daughters would go skating, etc. and we spent evenings shooting the breeze at Linda & Rollie’s place on the outskirts of Titusville.
In later years we enjoyed conversing over the telephone. Reminiscing about the great times we had on the horses. We tried to solve political issues of the day; we weren’t very successful. In closing I will certainly miss his mischievous smile and the twinkle in his eye when he thought he had got U.
